1. Custom Orders & Commission Process

Estimates & Design Approval: Custom stained glass commissions begin with a consultation and preliminary estimate. Final designs, specifications (dimensions, colors, glass selection), and pricing must be approved in writing before production begins.

Deposits: A non-refundable deposit (typically 30–50% of the total project price) is required prior to ordering specialized materials or commencing physical fabrication.

Design Changes: Any modifications requested after design approval may result in additional charges and timeline adjustments.

2. Handcrafted Nature & Material Variations

Stained glass is an artisan, handcrafted product. By purchasing from us, you acknowledge and accept that:

Natural Variations: Glass sheets contain inherent variations in texture, density, color tone, striations, bubbles, and opacity. These are natural characteristics of handmade art glass, not defects.

Color Accuracy: Colors viewed on digital screens may vary slightly from physical glass under different natural and artificial lighting conditions.

3. Payment Terms & Ownership

Final Balance: The remaining balance for custom artwork or services is due upon completion and prior to final delivery, shipping, or installation.

Title & Ownership: Title and ownership of all physical artwork and custom pieces remain with Eagle Stained Glass Studio until all balances are paid in full.

4. Shipping, Delivery & Installation

Packaging & Shipping: We take extreme care in packaging custom glass pieces using specialized protective materials. Shipping costs, insurance, and duties/taxes (if applicable) are the responsibility of the client unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Transit Damage: Inspect all packages immediately upon arrival. Any damage during shipping must be documented with photos of both the outer packaging and damaged artwork, and reported to us within 48 hours of delivery.

Site Preparation & Installation: For architectural glass installations, the client is responsible for ensuring structural readiness and safe access to the site.

5. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

Custom Artwork: Because each custom piece is tailor-made to your specific dimensions and design preferences, custom commissions are non-refundable once production has begun.

Standard Products: For non-custom, ready-made glass items, returns may be accepted within 14 days of receipt, provided items are returned undamaged in original packaging. Return shipping expenses remain the buyer’s responsibility.

6. Intellectual Property & Design Rights

Original Artwork Rights: Eagle Stained Glass Studio retains all copyright and intellectual property rights to all original designs, sketches, custom patterns, and photographs created by us, even after purchase.

Promotional Use: We reserve the right to photograph, document, and display images of completed projects (including installed artwork) in our portfolio, website, and promotional media, while respecting client privacy regarding residential addresses.

Client Patterns: If you provide an external pattern or design for us to execute, you warrant that you hold the legal right or license to use that design.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

Eagle Stained Glass Studio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from product installation, misuse, extreme weather exposure, or structural failure of framing provided by third parties.

Our total liability for any claim arising from artwork, products, or services shall not exceed the actual amount paid by you for that specific order.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and any agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of North Macedonia. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent local courts.
